What is your turn around time?

While we try to keep our most popular items in stock, the majority of garments are made to order.

Most items take about 2 weeks to cut, sew, finish, and package. We typically begin cutting your order within a day after we receive it. Due to this, cancellations can only be processed within 24 hours of placing your order.

In high-volume seasons the turn around time can fluctuate. Feel free to communicate with us if you have any questions or concerns after the 2 week period.

What if my clothing doesn’t fit?

These things happen! We would be happy to process an exchange for you, just contact us by email within 7 days of receiving the order. All concerns regarding the fit, color, and/or quality of the order, as well as details of the exchange should be directed to info@CAITSHEA.com.

Items returned for exchange must arrive in original condition (unwashed, unworn) including original tags and packing slip within 7 days of arrival to the recipient. Please allow at least 2 weeks for the exchange order to ship.

Customer is responsible for all related shipping fees.

What types of fabrics do you use?

We use the most sustainable fabrics we can find. Most of our garments are made from 100% natural fibers such as cotton, linen, hemp, raw silk, and tencel.

We also source from dead-stock fabrics, or fabrics that come in lots too small for most industrial clothing suppliers and would otherwise go unused. Due to this some colors and options only come in limited runs.

How should I care for my handmade garments?

Unless otherwise noted clothing can be hand-washed or machine washed on gentle cycle with cold water and laid flat or hung to dry.

Washing cold helps preserve dyed colors and increase fabric longevity. Although machine drying is possible, it increases the risks of shrinkage and shortens the lifespan of your clothing.

All fabrics are pre-washed to avoid unwanted surprises.

Where is your clothing made?

Our clothing is made in the beautiful, quaint, small town of Ivoryton, Connecticut. Our designer, Cait Shea Clark, works closely with a small team of assistants to insure that all clothing made meets our meticulous standards.
